A Peachy Elegant Soirée: WeddingDay’s Exclusive Central Indiana Cover Shoot

The Vision

Inspired to create something different that featured the 2024 Pantone Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz, Allison Kunkler, owner of Gypsy Rose Events, created an elegantly modern wedding scene that features plenty of warm colors. She wanted to focus on the quote Pantone released to explain Peach Fuzz, which includes themes of connection and compassion; the perfect themes for a wedding! We love how Becky Lynn Photography captured all the vibrance and romance in this wedding scene.

The Venue

Despite Garment Factory Events having an industrial style, the team was able to accent this moodier space with the bright floral feel of spring and summer. “The natural brick exposed walls provide an added warmth to the color palette and allowed the added colors, textures and florals to stand out naturally. The timber frames, posts and string lighting also gave an outdoor patio effect that fit well in creating an intimate spring/summer dinner party,” Allison shares. We also love that this venue boasts two different spaces to utilize for both a ceremony and reception as well as a striking staircase and cozy bar area!

The Florals

Spring is a time for blooming nature, so no spring or summer wedding scene is complete without plenty of fresh flowers! All of the radiant colors of this shoot are represented in the blooms JP Parker Flowers meticulously put together. The bouquets include some of our favorite wedding flowers like roses, orchids and mums!

The Decor

Believe it or not, this color scheme came from a photo of a piñata! When Allison looked up color schemes for Peach Fuzz online, she found a picture of piñata letters with colors she loved, and went to Sherwin Williams to find colors that matched. A main focal point of the ceremony space are those colorful arches from Violet Vintage! Other rentals the team utilized to bring this theme to life are elegantly detailed tablecloths from BBJ Linens, gold silverware and stone-washed chairs from A Classic Party Rentals and unique glassware from Anthropologie. Some of our favorite touches are the balloon display from Russell the Brand Balloons and the cozy lounge area the team created as well!

The Looks

Because The Frock has so many options to choose from, the team was able to use two equally stunning dresses for this shoot that both complemented our vision. The ceremony gown is a fitted, sophisticated gown with plenty of petite lace flower details and a dramatic open back. The reception gown is a fun and flirty look featuring hand-printed cotton organza, a pleated skirt and shoulder bows! To allow each gown to shine, The Mane Bridal styled the bride’s hair in an elaborate, textured braid and gave her elegant pink makeup. The gray suit from SuitShop also pairs nicely with both bridal looks!

The Stationery

Cari of Interprintations designed the perfect stationery pieces for this fun shoot. “She incorporated the 'Best Day Ever' words and colors to create a beautiful invitation suite,” Allison explains. To tie in the theme, she also included the arch shape from the ceremony space in the menu designs and the citrus trend in the place cards. We think everything works together for the best combination of summer citrus tones and spring floral details!

The Cake

Look at this whimsical and intricate confection! We absolutely love all of the floral details in the decorative icing. “Alison with Farmhouse Cakes specializes in palette knife florals and was able to create a stunning three-tiered cake that looked like a genuine piece of art. It also tasted amazing!” Allison raves. What you can’t tell from the outside, is that each tier was a different flavor of either snickerdoodle, carrot cake or white cake. Talk about mouth-watering!
