Indianapolis, Ind. – The Central Indiana bridal market, business community and media, were received as guests of WeddingDay Magazine, Tuesday evening, May 17, 2011, in the Indianapolis Artsgarden. Greeted by flutes of champagne, industry guests were welcomed onto a dazzling purple streaming entrance, red carpet style, for arrival photography. The Indianapolis Artsgarden, the crown jewel sitting above the center point of downtown Indianapolis, provided a glassed transformation into an evening gala setting. Amidst cocktails and artistic culinary presentation, familiar faces connected and new business relationships unfolded.
Guests were seated on both sides of a 48-foot runway where they were treated to a musical and visual choreographed bridal wear and tux attire showcase featuring Bliss Boutique, Blue House Bridal, Cc.elaine Bride Chic, Couture by Nydia, Lucy’s Bridal, Melanie’s Bride’s Boutique, and Personal Tux – unfolding ooooh’s, aaaah’s and applause, throughout.
To follow, a visual journey into WeddingDay Magazine on large screen narrated in business poetry – a trend-setting presentational approach destined for viral rippling throughout events, both corporate and non-profit.
Masterful and witty Mistress of Ceremonies, Lynn Scott, facilitated a live auction, raising funds for Wish Upon a Wedding; comprised of donated prime advertising positions by WeddingDay Magazine, coupled in one bidding package, with a 5 night/6 day, all inclusive stay (accommodations, meals, and beverages) for 2. Artfully produced bidding paddles swathed in pink bow-tied ribbon, were jettisoned toward the arched ceiling of the Indianapolis Artsgarden as the bidding unfolded, collectively raising, $3,700.
WeddingDay Magazine’s Premiere evening came to a close with a Sweet Kiss Goodnight Dessert Presentation, including an etched wine glass guest gifting, for inclusion in the Wedding Day bags guests discovered at the foot of their chairs as they were audience-seated.
WeddingDay Magazine, a published bridal industry print magazine since 2005, will unveil its first 17-county Central Indiana publication, Fall 2011. Advertising deadline: July 2011.
