This Boho Glamping Elopement Shoot in Kentucky has Retro Citrus Style

Rustic, southern style has never looked so retro in this styled elopement! Kirstie of Kirstie Dunston Photography was inspired by trends of glamorous camp elopements but wanted to add her own southern twist to the style. By adding on extra rustic and boho elements, Kirstie and her team created a day that you’re sure to love!

These whimsical florals prove that you don’t need large overflowing pieces for a big impact! Small arrangements provide the right pop of citrus color to this shoot. Kirstie adds, “I wanted an overall warm color palette, so I decided to pair the tangerine with dusty rose and a touch of burgundy.” Additionally, she used fresh fruit to tie in the spring season to her bright color scheme.

This shoot showcases two gowns, each with its own boho style. The first gown’s intricate lace design was complemented by its removable sleeves, and the second gown was a showstopping folksy dream when paired with that floral hat! 

No glamping elopement is complete without a tent and a picnic setup! The addition of the records, radio and wicker chairs bring in a retro festival vibe to the rustic atmosphere.
