A Casual, Boho Detroit Celebration: The Real Wedding of Emily Sciriha & Justin Urich

Emily and Justin wanted a casual yet unique wedding, and their venue supported this vision. “My biggest pet peeve is when guests sit at their table while everyone is dancing,” Emily explained. Their venue came with the perk of deconstructing the ceremony décor while everyone ate upstairs. Once the meal was over, the guests moved back downstairs to celebrate and dance!

What We Love

For their unity ceremony, Emily and Justin placed an engraved lock on the fence in Parker’s Alley and threw the key in the Detroit River. Emily says, “Our first date was at a Detroit Red Wings game so it was a full circle moment to connect everything.”
