The Engagement of Claire and Colin

Time stopped the first time Colin laid eyes on Claire. This pair hit it off during their church’s retreat, and have been inseparable since! Colin knew he wanted Claire in his life forever, so he popped the question in the gardens at Manchester University. He remembers, “I was going to propose at a restaurant, but I was too excited when I got the ring that day, so I just had to do it as soon as possible!”

Colin picked out the ring himself, paying homage to his Irish heritage through a four trinity knot design. He made sure to get Claire’s sister’s approval before making the purchase, confirming it was a perfect style!

Claire and Colin both admired Jasmine of Jasmine Norris Photography and her amazing work. “I loved Jasmine’s work online and she was rated highly,” Claire explains. “I got in touch with Jasmine to do our wedding photos, and she has a package that included engagement as well, which was so helpful! One less thing Colin and I have to worry about planning!”

Though planning has been stressful, Colin and Claire are good at reminding one another that their love is the only thing that matters. "I have great family and friends who helped me along the way and reminded us to enjoy the moment," Claire says.
