Ethereal Romance: A Spring-Inspired Style Shoot

Set against charming architecture and beauty only Mother Nature could offer, this romantic shoot began as a vision for an enchanting, springtime concept. Inspired by slate blue paired with the warmth of rosy champagne, Alyssa of Fleurology Designs imagined a palette of lavenders, periwinkles, French blue and gray tones.

Photographer Samantha James and Alyssa’s collaboration resulted in an intoxicating vision complete with a koi pond, gorgeous willow tree and gardens in bloom. “I wanted to create this romantic, European look and feel that was simple and organic yet complex and beautiful,” says Alyssa. Infusing florals grown in Michigan and California, just some of the gorgeous varieties Alyssa selected included hellebores, lilacs, Nigella pods and blooms, dusty miller, peony tulips and Agapanthus.

From the antique china and soft blue goblets to the beautiful stationery and blueberry accented cake, this shoot takes lush details and romance to a new level.
