The Venue

For our Central Indiana fall/winter cover, we were thrilled to shoot at the brand new Aloft Indianapolis Downtown, a hotel that perfectly blends historic charm with modern luxury. Opened in February 2025, the property occupies a stunning building originally constructed in 1898, once home to the Stockyard Banking Trust. One of the hotel’s most striking features is its historic bank vault, now a unique event space that can be booked for private celebrations and is accessible to wedding guests—adding a one-of-a-kind touch to any special day. The Amenities

Aloft Indianapolis Downtown offers a variety of amenities designed with both convenience and style in mind. The WXYZ Bar, open seven days a week, is ideal for cocktail receptions, while REFUEL, the hotel’s all-day market, features local offerings and breakfast options for wedding guests so they don’t have to leave the hotel. The Looks & Florals

Our models brought the fashion and romance to this shoot! The bride's hair was styled in a curled half-up, half-down look with dramatic eyes and a neutral lip by The Mane Bridal. This romantic vibe perfectly complemented her sleek gown that sported a lace floral bodice, subtle sequins and a high leg slit. The groom looked effortlessly classic in a black tux from JBenzal Menswear, complete with a bow tie and a playful pop of red in his socks, adding personality and flair. The bride’s bouquet, provided by Flora + Flame, featured various white blooms in differing textures accented with pops of baby blue and lavender. The quiet elegance of the blooms allowed the venue’s tones and vibrant décor to truly shine!

Conveniently located just a few blocks from Massachusetts Avenue and within walking distance of downtown Indianapolis’ bars, restaurants and landmarks like Monument Circle, Aloft is an ideal choice for couples booking a wedding hotel block.
