Your wedding day is one of the most important and memorable days of your life. When it comes to capturing those invaluable and once-in-a-lifetime moments, it is incredibly important that you choose your photographer carefully. Kaity Fuja of OMG Photography is not only incredibly talented, she understands a couple's needs. She also uses her creativity, experience and passion for what she does to effortlessly document those special moments that will live on for generations to come—as well as the wonderful, "in between" moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Please tell us a little more about OMG Photography.

"I started OMG Photography when I was a senior at Notre Dame. At the time, I was majoring in Entrepreneurship and taking all of the photo classes available. I loved being able to use both sides of my brain! Since then, I have photographed over 100 weddings and worked with so many wonderful people! I love bold, colorful images that strike the balance between contemporary and classic. I strive to create images that tell a story and speak to the heart of a moment. I truly love that this is my job!"
 

What sets you apart from other photographers? Why should a bride choose you?

"Choosing a photographer for your wedding day is a big decision. Aside from considering budget and style, it’s also important to get along with your photographer—you are going to be spending A LOT of time together on one of the biggest days of your life! Aside from capturing my couples’ wedding days in an honest and creative way, I also strive to make them feel comfortable and relaxed. The happier they are and the better they feel with me and in front of the camera—the better their photos will be."

Do you have anything else exciting that you would like to share?

"Right now is a great time to get some engagement photos taken! Not only is fall one of the prettiest times of year for our area, but I’m also running a special on portrait sessions: $400 for an engagement session + digital files (50 images). That’s a savings of nearly $300 from my standard engagement package!"
 

What do you enjoy most about photography?

"As much as I love the big parts of a wedding day (the ‘I dos,’ the kiss, first dances, etc.), I really enjoy photographing the ‘in between’ moments. The way parents look at their children as they take this big step. The way a couple’s hands just seem to reach for each other. The little glances of 'We’re really doing this!!'—those moments of vulnerability that we so often take for granted. Those are the moments I really love to capture."
