Our 2020 Style Shoot Design Contest Runner-Up: Classic Blue Written in the Stars

Their love is written in the stars. Shayne of Shayne Culp Photography coordinated and captured a celestial love story of an offbeat couple in a way that left us speechless. Classic Blue peeks subtly throughout this shoot in ways that we love: in the bridal suit, the square bouquet and the blue chocolate glazed cake. “The vision was meant to be colorful and celestial without going over the top. I’m so happy with the results,” Shayne notes.

We’ve got an eye for detail, and Shayne and her team did not disappoint. Marble plates, jeweled toned glasses and table linens provided by AAYS Event Rentals transformed this tablescape into a sunburst of color. Shayne says, “Suns and moons are everywhere in the shoot in little ways. This was a really cool way to play it up in the dishes.”

The rock candy is the perfect sweet treat for any wedding guest. “They’re delicious and a really cute affordable favor for guests,” Shayne adds. And can we talk about that gorgeous cake? We’re swooning over the gold dusting in this confection!

The true showstopper is the design of the bridal looks. The team drew from romantic and whimsical styles while working to flatter their model’s bodies. We love the team’s take on unique additions, such as the bridal cape and flowers woven into the bridal attendant’s beard. The handcrafted headpiece was the best way to top off this gorgeous celestial celebration!
