HOW DID YOU KNOW CRAWFORDSVILLE WAS WHERE YOU AND JONATHAN WANTED TO TIE THE KNOT?

"At first we thought we wanted to get married in Champaign, Illinois, which is where Jon and I met, but on our way back from visiting venues, we had an appointment at Stone Creek Lodge in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Jon was able to come after work and meet my mom and I both at the venue. As soon as we visited, we knew it was the place we were going to get married because of how simple and all-inclusive their wedding package was! It just made the day of our wedding that much more calm for everyone and also fun! It was also great having the hotels off of Interstate 74 so half our guests from the state of Illinois could easily find hotel rooms and wouldn't have to stay in Indy, yet Indianapolis is still a short drive away for exploring. Growing up in Lebanon, Indiana, it also gave that small town presence that Jon and I both value."

Did you use any local features in your wedding?

"We didn't use any out-of-the-box features at our wedding, but kept it fairly simple. Most of the major vendors we utilized were all local and did an absolutely amazing job."

What We Love

What would you tell couples who are looking to get married in Crawfordsville?

"If you are from West Central or even Central Indiana, I would highly recommend getting married in this area! Not only was Stone Creek Lodge an absolutely phenomenal venue with a tough-to-beat package, but local vendors within the area are absolutely TOP NOTCH! The location is not too crowded but still close enough to Indianapolis and Lafayette! For a small town feel with a natural country vibe, this area is absolutely perfect in my opinion!"
