A Rustic Elegant Celebration in Southwest Michigan: The Real Wedding of Veronica and Dave Hochstedler

Dave and Veronica first met through Veronica's waitressing job. After dating for a while, they both knew they wanted to get married. Once they were engaged, they began their hunt for their perfect vendors. After they had a few nailed down, they relied on some key referrals from the vendors they had to help book more that would help their vision come to life!
 

One of those helpful vendors was their gorgeous venue. "Bell Mare was romantic and beautiful and just simply fit our style," Veronica explains. It is an ideal white backdrop for any kind of wedding couples want to host. For Dave and Veronica in particular, Bell Mare Weddings & Events was perfect for this rustic yet romantic celebration that they were dreaming up!
 

We are in love with Veronica's dress! It is a perfect combination of rustic roots with an elegant flourish. "I knew the style I wanted and then I tried on 'the one' and it was love at first sight," Veronica gushes. The sweetheart neckline is perfect for a romantic wedding while the intricate lace design is both elegant and rustic. As for the hair and makeup, Veronica went with a stylish bun and simple glam makeup.
 

The romantic color scheme that Veronica put together combined rich reds, pastel pinks and royal blues. It's a perfect blending of colors to achieve the look they were going for. We especially love the addition of rose gold touches on the tablescapes. And the plates have a beautiful artistic lines on them that modernize the wedding a touch!
 

 

What We Love

Veronica and Dave took the opportunity to honor those who they have lost during their wedding. Along with a table with photos and candles to remember those who have passed, Veronica had a handkerchief tacked into her wedding dress that was special to her. "It was my late father’s, and it meant a lot to me to have a part of him with me, as he was my best friend," Veronica shares.
