When it came to selecting the the theme of their wedding, Carmen and Adam didn't end up going with anything traditional. Instead, they combined many things they love including mid-century modern styles, vintage vibes and plenty of natural greenery. To truly reflect them and their love for each other, Carmen and Adam added so many fun details to their wedding. For their first dance, they learned and practiced swing dancing for ten weeks to pull off a fun time-period dance. In honor of her Chinese heritage, Carmen had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony before their wedding day. Another fun detail was all the D.I.Y. elements! From the florals to a customized wedding arch, Carmen and Adam enlisted the help of friends and family to put together all the details of their special day.
What We Love
With so many unique and meaningful moments to this day, Carmen and Adam needed to find the perfect photographer to capture them all. Laura Spencer Photography was the woman for the job! "I first found her through Section House's Instagram," Carmen explains. Thankfully, Laura was available and captured all the details of their wedding day flawlessly!
