Even though Alex was too shy to introduce himself to Liana, a friend did it for him and they’ve been there for each other ever since! When it came time to plan their wedding, Liana envisioned a classic, black-tie wedding with a twist. Inspired by springtime florals, Liana wanted to incorporate plenty of bright hues. We love the way the colors pop among the simple black and white details of this day! Liana also chose to include Egyptian elements—like the sphinx ice sculpture and Coptic Orthodox ceremony—to celebrate her Egyptian heritage. And we are obsessed with Liana’s elegant and beautiful gown. This off-the-shoulder, A-line dress is absolutely stunning with the all-over lace pattern!

What We Love

Hotel Carmichael was everything Liana and Alex wanted in their wedding venue. “I’ve always known I wanted to get married in a beautiful hotel and get ready in stunning wedding suites,” Liana shares. “The hotel is stunning, pure luxury, smells wonderful, has a wonderful event planning team and is located in Carmel which is one of the most beautiful suburbs in America.”
