Tiffany Reppen from Forever Faithful Photos had four adjectives in her heart when designing this shoot: elegant, delicate, earthy and quietly beautiful. She says, “This styled shoot came together because we had an amazing team of creatives who truly love what they do and are great at it. It was important to me that each vendor was able to share their ability and creative side. With that freedom, the shoot turned out better than I could have imagined. Only looking back over the photos...that is when I found its theme. A Secret Garden. A secret whispered, like the bride's quiet beauty or the garden’s forgotten past.”
Tiffany says, “The owners of this private venue are a dream to work with—so accommodating, humble and down to earth. They have a real passion for turning what is forgotten into something beautiful. It’s like you’re walking back into time—so serene.”
The venue also offered hidden beauty at every turn. Earthy features and old abbey walls made it a dream to shoot at. “Kris (of Sugarfield Flowers) wanted to evoke a romantic secret garden where walls are covered in moss, unexpected flowers bloom just around the corner and a sense of whimsy lies just under the surface,” explains Tiffany. “The environment around us was the inspiration with the greens, blushes and lilacs while the hints of gold gave it an elegant flair.”
The bride’s gorgeous gown was called “Olivia” by Rebecca Ingram. “The delicate back details and the embellished waistline added just the right amount of elegance without being too loud,” explains Tiffany.
“The inspiration for this bride’s makeup was a classic, bohemian look using the colors from the beautiful scenery around us! The eyeshadow is a rosy gold with hints of green and is paired with a rich, mauve lip color,” says Tiffany. The hair was styled into a soft, romantic look and Sugarfield Flowers completed the vision with gorgeous florals.
The stationery was inspired by the earthy garden surroundings and stayed true to the pretty palette.
Tiffany says, “I love Oh Joy Cupcakes’ twist on the naked cake. Just a sheer layer of icing created a perfect canvas to showcase more of the earthy garden theme and color palette. Joy did an outstanding job with the cake while Kris added the perfect touch of flower décor—a true team effort.”
