"It is hard to pick a photographer to capture such a special day. After research and a bit of a leap of faith (we’d never been married or had our pictures taken) we chose Jenny and Jason. Tell use a little more about your business.

"We're a real couple running a fine art wedding photography LLC (Jenny and Jason Photography, LLC ) that has been in the business for almost 10 years now! We BOTH have high level formal educations (BFA and MFA) in professional photography. Jenny's degree in photography (MFA terminal degree- like a PhD) even qualifies her to teach Photography or Fine Art Photography at a university level! We've both been professional lead wedding photographers for almost 10 years now. We're a real couple (which is rare) who own a real physical studio and offices in South Bend, Indiana. We are in our 5th year together, have two fur babies in our house in South Bend, have photographed couples abroad as well as in about 10 states (with many other couples coming in from 8 states nationwide) and genuinely care about every single detail of your wedding!"
 

Is there anything exciting you would like to share?

"We'll be in the December 2018 issue of Wedding Day magazine coming up, so check out that physical magazine! In December we're wrapping up our craziest fall wedding season in almost 10 years, so we're currently capturing more weddings and creating 9 physical wedding albums for our couples and then booking some final 2019 weddings this winter (along with more 2020 weddings). What inspires you as photographers?

"We're inspired by genuine, fun, interesting, and kind people. It's so easy to get caught up in fashion photography, journalism, etc., but at the end of the day, what images are saved, shared, and passed down through the generations? Wedding photographs and family photographs. It's NOT easy being in a relationship, going through the stressors of life, or creating a loving, stable home, so we love the strength that we see in the people we work with. We love to show people just how beautiful their love is and show them as their best selves. Our photography shows REAL people genuinely in love and we KNOW how seldom each of us gets to stop and really appreciate that for a second. Life stops for no one and we love being able to capture and professionally PRINT these literally once in a lifetime moments to stop time for just a second so that years or lifetimes down the line someone can look back at these images and learn more about these couples and families."
 

What do you love most about the couples you work with?

"We're a real couple ourselves in our 5th year together and often our couples have been together for 5 to 8 years before getting married. That shows stamina and the strength their love has to endure time, stress, moves, job changes, expanding families and literally EVERYTHING. Our couples are such hard workers (with generally both our bride and groom having fantastic educations and careers) and they inspire us to continue to challenge ourselves, help each other and be kind in the midst of any adversity. We're a couple who understands couples and we love getting to know each and every unique personality and relationship dynamic!"
