"Indiana Landmarks Center is a beautiful event space that hosts First Friday Events as well as private events. The space is exquisite and maintained to the highest level. The Center is located on the Old North side, which is a historic area. The space was originally a church and has been repurposed to be used as an event space. I also appreciate that they have an on-site parking lot that tends to have availability and if not there is free street parking on the streets nearby."

Please tell us a little more about your business. 

"Indiana Landmarks Center serves as the headquarters for Indiana Landmarks, a statewide nonprofit historic preservation organization. We help people to see 'something old' in a whole new light! Our location near the heart of Indianapolis is truly the perfect place to hold a wedding (or a meeting, conference, or party!)."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"Our venue offers unmatched historic charm, without sacrificing modern-day amenities. An extensive renovation in 2011 saved the building from destruction while adding all the details that make this a dream wedding venue. From our computer-controlled lighting effects to our Steinway concert grand piano, you really have the freedom to make your day anything you want it to be. We also have the unique ability to host both the ceremony and the reception in the same building, but in completely different spaces. This gives the day flow and convenience that’s hard to beat. We even have outdoor spaces to host to a pre-reception cocktail hour, while also serving as a stunning backdrop to all of your wedding day photos."

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

"We are so excited to be attending the Indianapolis Monthly Bridal Show on January 12, 2020 at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana! We absolutely love meeting brides to be and those who are with them on the journey to their special day."

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

"We love sharing our venue with couples on their big day! Creating meaningful moments in this historic space was part of the vision that inspired the rescue and renovation of Indiana Landmarks Center. We know how special our space is, and how lucky we are to have been able to give it a future. It is truly an honor to play host to such an important moment in the couple’s life."

What do you love most about working with couples?

"Working hand in hand with a couple throughout the planning process is such a beautiful experience. One of our favorite parts is seeing a couple fall in love with our space the moment they step into the room. Seeing them gush over a building we love so dearly is one of the best parts of our job! Even if they have a moment of stunned silence, we can see their eyes light up as they imagine themselves walking down our aisle, surrounded by their loved ones, on the biggest day of their life. Helping make their dreams a reality is at the heart of what we do, and it never gets old to see everything come together on the day of the wedding!"
