Neither of us knew each other before our first couple of years in Bloomington, but ever since we stepped foot on campus, our lives have never been the same,” says Taryn. The pair initially met in a biology class and ended up falling in love during study sessions paired with late-night pizza. Six years later, Jon popped the question when he invited Taryn for a picnic in Highland Park to celebrate her birthday. The couple then went out to celebrate with family that Jon had invited to be part of that life-changing day.

However, their story would not end there as they reconnected and started dating when Kelsi started graduate school. Later, they celebrated her graduation by taking a trip to the Grand Canyon where Tyler popped the question. Kelsi says, “It was the biggest surprise of my life! I actually thought he was kidding at first. It was private, intimate and romantic. Everything I could’ve asked for.”
