This Auburn Hills Style Shoot Has Us Swooning Over Spring Colors

Get ready to spring into this blossoming style shoot! Kendra Thompson, an intern at Mary Shelton Media, took initiative and envisioned this colorful, transitional season shoot that we can’t help but swoon over. Kendra explains, “I was imagining a ton of lace wedding dresses and gorgeous pastels for the bridesmaids, and my vision definitely came to life through the shoot!”

The color palette the team focused on was a look that encompassed the soft transition from winter into spring. The shoot’s florals contrasted in texture and color, perfectly mixing warm and cool tones.

2GatherMore was the perfect venue for the shoot because of its versatility--the team loved the flexibility to capture pictures in the spacious ceremony and reception area, bridal and groom suites and the bar! “The inside of the venue feels very new, and the flooring, wallpaper and architectural features make for a comfortable and clean looking space,” Kendra adds. The venue’s gorgeous windows allow for a bright atmosphere filled with natural light.

This shoot showcases a wide variety of dresses to fit any bohemian bride. “All the dresses we ended up with had some element of lace, and some included sparkle,” Kendra notes. “We wanted a very ethereal/bohemian feel to tie in the spring vibe.” Each of the brides were styled individually for their own, natural beauty to shine through.
