Celebrating Love Way Out in the Arizona Countryside: The Anniversary of Amanda and Vinny

While Amanda was enjoying a night out with a friend at Sluggers Bar at Wrigleyville in Chicago, Vinny came up and asked her to dance. And the rest is history! Since they were living in St. Louis at the time, Vinny proposed to Amanda at St. Louis Canyon in Starved Rock State Park. "We both love hiking and spending as much time outdoors, so it was special. The best part was that he had our friends and family surprise me with a celebration after the proposal," Amanda recalls.
 

Even though Vinny picked out the ring himself, it wasn't without some guidance. Amanda admits, "He chose the ring, but I sent him a lot of hints leading up to our engagement!" Vinny chose an oval diamond on a silver band with other gems all around the band. We think it's a stunning ring!
 

Despite the fact that they had since moved to Arizona, their photographer Danielle Schury Photography traveled there for this anniversary photo session. She wanted to celebrate their one year of marriage by taking photos of them celebrating their love! 
 

To honor their engagement and love for the outdoors while also highlighting their new home, they chose an outdoor locale.  with plenty of cacti! As for their outfits, Amanda shares, "For our one year anniversary shoot, I wanted to wear something white to honor my bridal era but also keep everything neutral and timeless. Vinny wore his cowboy hat and boots to showcase our new life as Arizonans!"
