These two lovebirds were absolutely buzzing for each other when they met on Bumble! Ryan popped the question to Audrey the day before the Indy500, and when she said yes, their hearts raced past the finish line!
Budgeting was a large part of this couple’s decision-making process. Audrey explains, “If we couldn’t afford it (like a live band) or it was deemed unnecessary (like wedding favors), it was out. Everything else was decided with no humming or hawing, and with no second-guessing.” Because Audrey is a wedding vendor herself, she knew the checklist she needed to follow for her big day!
Audrey wanted a simple dress that wasn’t “too much.” She avoided heavy lace, embroidery and beading, and found the perfect match with a gown with minimalistic elegance!
What we love
This ceremony was full of helping hands from friends and family. Audrey asked one of her close friends to play the flute during her ceremony. Her two sons helped too! Her oldest read from a book, while her youngest acted as the ring bearer. Another unique touch is that the reception tables were named, not numbered, based on cities the couple had visited–Rome, Dublin, New Orleans and Holland, to name a few!
Advice from the couple
Audrey advises future brides to pay attention to money before they start planning. She says, “Always come up with a budget first, and realize there will be unexpected things that come up or, at the very least, things you will want to add. Talk to your partner about his/her priorities, but remember that the most important thing is that you will be married!”
