Please tell us a little more about your business.

"My name is Jillian Johnson and I am the owner of the Gable Hill Wedding Barn located in beautiful Southwest Michigan. We are a newly built barn style venue that sits on 13 picturesque acres surrounded by woods and Streaters Mill Pond giving the grounds a secluded feel. We host 50-60 events each year between the months of May and October."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"Our venue, although a popular barn style, is different from others in that it is a new venue built specifically to host events. Modern amenities, as well as a full house on the property, converted into a bridal cottage for the entire bridal party to enjoy is one of the many perks of Gable Hill. Couples looking to get married on beautiful grounds with a host of modern features will love Gable Hill. Our staff is friendly and accommodating and always willing to see that each event is perfect."

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

"New cottages called Winding Creek Cabins are being built one mile down the road from our venue for convenient accommodations for all guests beginning in the 2020 season. Our barn has been featured as a top barn venue and also has been chosen for many spotlight articles in many magazines."

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

"I love seeing couples' visions become a reality and who doesn't want to be involved in someone's most special day of their lives! I enjoy working with so many fun, caring and loving couples."

What do you love most about working with couples?

"Bouncing ideas off of each other to create their perfect day is my favorite!  At the end of an event, hearing how wonderful Gable Hill was makes all of the hard work worth it. "
