Our “Mother-of-the-Bride Dream Dress Giveaway” Winner Finds her Dress at Judee’s!

We love our moms! They are often our role models, friends and heroes. That is why it can be  easy to overlook all that they do for us, especially when it comes to wedding planning. Our moms sometimes take over the role of “wedding planner” helping with all those little details–they are the shoulder that we cry on when things get a little stressful and the person that helps us get ready on the morning of the big day. That is why WeddingDay and Judee’s Boutique teamed up to help one lucky mother-of-the-bride find her dream dress in our Mother-of-the-Bride Dream Dress Giveaway! Our much-deserving mother, Lisa, and her daughter, Nikki, were invited for a one-on-one shopping experience at Judee’s, a women’s clothing boutique, with their Certified Image Consultant, Laura Burney. Our winner, Lisa, has been helping her daughter plan every last detail of her wedding coming up on September 8th at Marian Hills Farm. Lisa is extremely dedicated to her children and grandchildren—never putting herself before them. Nikki said, “My mother never does anything for herself. It is nice to see her have the chance to be pampered.”

Judee’s treated Lisa and Nikki like royalty (as they do all of their clients). This shopping experience was far from the expected—as Judee’s carefully walks through consultations with their shoppers to ensure that they leave with the perfect ensemble. What makes Judee’s stand out from other shops is that they require their consultants to be certified. This ensures that every woman who shops with them gets an outfit that is ideal for their body type, color profile, and personality. Laura began by asking the date and type of venue for the big event. Laura then asked what areas of her body Lisa was most concerned about, addressing any issues and concerns that Lisa had.

After the initial consultation, Lisa and Nikki were able to browse Judee’s entire showroom and choose the dresses that caught their attention. Laura also picked a few additional dresses that she knew would flatter Lisa according to her body type. Lisa ended up loving everything that she tried on thanks to Laura’s expert advice! In order to narrow down the choices, Laura took the time to specifically speak with Lisa about the details of each gown and the differences in order to help Lisa make the best selection for her dream dress.

Lisa knew which gown was the one as soon as she saw herself in the mirror. She teared up when she looked at herself and daughter, Nikki, knew that they had found the perfect dress. The winning gown, a teal blue dress by Montage, was something Laura specifically recommended for Lisa based on her complexion and body type.

Laura then put the icing on the cake by pairing beautiful accessories with the gown. Laura chose stunning Sorrelli earrings with a shimmering pewter clutch and shoes by Benjamin Walk to match the gown. The entire experience was truly fit for a princess because of the service Judee’s provides for its clients. Lisa walked away not only with a dream dress but with an experience that she can cherish for years to come.
