Who doesn’t love a photo shoot that truly tells a story—especially one as beautiful as this? Inspired by Logan Square’s newest event venue, The Joinery, Alexandria Odekirk Photography and Dotted Events joined their talented forces to design a photo shoot “full of story, whimsy and details.”

Inspiration can come in many forms and for Lynsey Moore of Pixie Dust Events, it started with gorgeously perfect turquoise and gold peacock plates. “I knew that they would be perfect to use for a styled shoot," Lynsey says.
Jillian and Patrick knew from their first date they would spend the rest of their lives together. It was so clear, in fact, that Patrick “fake proposed” as they passed a courthouse while visiting his family in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Karla Neu of True Color Photography wanted to collaborate with her friend, Kelsey Hann, and her new rental company, Simply Elegant Events. Together, they dreamt up a modern, country styled shoot at Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn, desiring to add a new twist to a classic style. “Kelsey really took it from there with her expertise in wedding design. She rents out the most amazing farm tables, so we thought those would work perfectly!" Karla says. "From the soft floral designs layered with geometric candleholders, vintage goblets, succulents and a modern menu, everything went together in such a lush way!”
