This Classic Michigan Shoot Will Never Go Out Of Style: A Micro-Wedding Style Shoot

After getting approached by ZIngerman's Cornman Farms, Emily and Lynette of All Grand Events and Floral began working hard to create a stunning shoot to accent the venue. This was not a difficult task. As Emily raves, "The venue has such a romantic charm conducive to so many design options!"  Emily and Lynette decided to truly accent the intimate romance of this gorgeous venue.
 

One key detail that amps up the charm of this shoot is the various candles around the fireplace and the dessert table. In addition to the natural lighting, the candles truly play on the private aspect of this shoot. We also love the romantic feeling that the flowers bring to the shoot, despite them being the most difficult detail of this style shoot. "We had to choose florals that would also be available for the subsequent dates of weddings or florals that are available all year," Emily explains. So their floral choices were rather limited, but they look stunning!
 

Emily wanted the color scheme to be something she had never really done before. They made sure to include black and white—arguably two of the most dramatic colors—and coupled them with some earthy tones.  Vibrant greens, soft browns and delicate ivories flow through every piece of decor. Though typically regarded as earthy, we think those colors look particularly elegant in this venue! And we are obsessed with the brides' dresses! "We wanted to incorporate black and white into the design, so we continued that with the gowns," Emily says. And the black and white dresses Becker's Bridal provided tie this whole shoot together flawlessly! The hair and makeup from Hairpins and Happiness completes the look and complements the brides' styles!
 

Since it is an intimate ceremony, the creative team decided to opt for a smaller cake. Despite its size, it looks just as scrumptious as a four-tier cake with all kinds of designs and accents in the frosting. The simplicity of both the cake and the tablescape breathes elegance and romance into this shoot. Everything is simply perfect!
