In the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Brides & Tailor collaborated with Kennedy Planning Co to make the most optimistic style shoot for our 2022 Style Shoot Design Contest. They share, “We were so tired of all the challenges everyone faced due to Covid so we wanted our colors to reflect our positive perspective and our hope that spring and summer 2021 would be a much better year for everyone!” Their theme selection of 'Go Wild' is reflected in the gorgeous outdoor setting, bright florals and lush greenery.

The creative team wanted to find the best venue possible to capture their unique idea. “We wanted an open space with natural views including a bridge and too much greenery and we got that,” the team raves. In fact, the venue was so wonderful that the staff went out of their way to help the team all day!

Beyond the optimistic feel of the shoot, the creative team wanted to bring a touch of elegance into the shoot. They were able to create a minimalist style shoot that shouted elegance and poise! “We used a gorgeous classic Rolls Royce car and yellow balloons to add a special luxurious touch to the shoot,” the team explains. “The table itself included bright white linens with yellow/white napkins to blend in seamlessly with the yellow/green flowers. We used white chairs and white tableware so it looked like it was part of the natural setting.” The design shows how easy it is to elevate your day to a luxurious celebration!

This team made sure to include a trendy, halter-neckline dress in the shoot which was actually custom made by the bridal salon. “We wanted a dress that was very lightweight and complemented the carefree theme of the shoot. This dress was exactly that,” the team gushes. And we love the addition of the hat with the flowers on the brim! Keeping the bride’s makeup simple and elegant brought out her true beauty.

Let’s talk about that stunning three-tiered cake! The team says, “The cake was a very lovely two-toned yellow and white colored cake. We added a touch of flowers on top of it to add more of a bridal aspect to it.” It was the perfect dessert for this spring-inspired shoot.
