Unique trends, breathtaking styles and new ideas bloom from the wedding industry almost daily and, thanks to industry insiders like Michelle Nikitaras of Unveiled Weddings & Events and Kate Murray of Katherine Murray Photography, we have yet another beautiful idea before us. For those of you who love oceans, are inspired by the sea or never dreamt you could re-create this vision for a wedding, especially if it were indoors, do read on!

Navy, coral, seafoam green - these colors of the ocean blue certainly inspired the team behind this style shoot. “I love playing with color and I was so excited to work with this incredible group of wedding professionals who feel the same way,” Michelle says. “Kate’s eye for detail is truly amazing and she captured the day perfectly showing so much breathtaking beauty.”

Choosing the right venue is always key and while Michelle personally loves The Allure and working alongside their staff, the team really aimed at finding a location that could inspire an indoor, beach-themed wedding, especially when the unpredictable weather of Northern Indiana can mean trouble for planning anything outdoors. The shoot was so seamless, in fact, that the most difficult part for the team was melding all of their great ideas into a single cohesive vision.

The classic, sophisticated feel of the dress they selected from LeSalon Bridal had just enough vintage flair to fit their look. “When we saw the breathtaking back detail…we knew this was the one!” Michelle says. To complete the sun-kissed and sophisticated look the team desired, LeRoc Salon & Body Bar styled the bride’s hair away from her face and and included hints of gold in the makeup.

Unveiled Weddings & Events provided the linens the team described as being in the perfect complementing colors to complete the look. “All of the backdrops and brick background of the venue were a natural nautical dream come true,” says Michelle.

In addition to the navy and seafoam green that are so reminiscent of the sea, coral, pink and gold were paired perfectly with the colors of the linens. Kris Livovich of Sugarfield Flowers created the breathtaking floral bouquets and details throughout the shoot. Michelle says, “The Ranunculus and Peonies have so many ruffles that it reminds us of ocean waves which are perfect for the theme.” As for the beautiful stationery designed by Amber Lynn of Ten/Twenty Nine Design, it is “a vision of classy and nautical that brought us to a sea side soirée.”
