Amanda of Amanda Cooper Photography has a love of cars—especially classic cars. She says, “My first vehicle was actually a Mustang. I’d had this vision in my head for quite some time. I’d searched for a bride whom I felt could help me capture the vintage look and finally found that in our bride, Stephanie. She was the perfect fit for what I had envisioned.”

The “reception” spot was an easy decision for Amanda. She says, “I’ve done a few weddings at the DoubleTree Hotel and they always turn out beautiful. They allowed us to set up our table and details right outside without any issues. Gorgeous!”

Amanda and her team also decided to merge modern with classic when it came to the dress. She says. “I personally like merging the two styles together rather than making everything look old fashioned. I feel the dress and car complemented each other very well.” Soft curls, a simple hair comb, neutral makeup colors and a wine-colored lip perfected the bride’s ultra pretty, “natural glam” look.

The green car was also a perfect complement to the palette—one that infused greenery, pepperberry, King Protea, Alstroemerias, mums, and anemones into the ivory, blush and burgundy theme.

Inspired by the bride's gown and accessories, the cake featured an extra tall bottom tier in signature French vanilla with fresh strawberries and vanilla bean buttercream. It was decorated in an ornate, rose pattern resembling the gown’s lace and embellished with silver pearls. Amanda says, “The top tier was a luxurious lemon cake with lemon curd buttercream covered in silver leaf and adorned with a single burgundy rose.”
