Celebrating Marriage: The Anniversary Session of Lexi and Jeff

The photos from your wedding day are irreplaceable. However, couples go through many chapters throughout their marriage. They grow and learn together, making it desirable to capture new memories. This session celebrates just that - the ever-adapting and memorable experiences that happen to couples. Lexi and Jeff were married in 2017 and decided to celebrate their next chapter in this shoot with Emily Elyse Wehner Photography.

Lexi and Jeff first met in Costa Rica. Lexi says, “I was there working after I finished high school and he came down on a mission trip to where I was working. That was in 2012 and we have been inseparable since!” Jeff proposed to Lexi in the cutest way. Lexi remarks, “I came home from work to my parent's house, where I was living at the time. There were pictures of us all over the kitchen table and a note to come to the backyard. He proposed right where we got married, in my parent's backyard.”

This session was a wonderful time to look back on their wedding. Lexi had been dreaming of her wedding day her whole life. She says, “I had dreamed of my wedding since I was very young so I kinda knew what I wanted everything to look like and how I wanted the day to feel.” Lexi was lucky enough to find the perfect partner and that dream day came to life. Since that day, Lexi and Jeff remain best friends and confidants and celebrate that in this session.
