A Celestial Celebration in Grand Rapids: The Real Wedding of Marina and Natasha Hinton

Since Marina and Natasha pictured a celestial celebration from the very beginning, their venue needed to fit this moody style that they were envisioning. The dark walls within the venue were the perfect backdrop for the blue and green tones they used for their reception. We love the golden accents around the space that help make those rich colors pop as well as the bright hues of the florals. The happy couple also hand-selected meaningful records to use as their "guest book" instead of a traditional book. Marina shares, “We certainly put love into every aspect of our reception and I think our guests felt that!”

Advice from the Couple

“Our biggest advice would be to weigh your priorities early on with your partner and get on the same page! Not everything in wedding planning can be a splurge, so deciding what you’re willing to spend more money on versus places where you don’t have to be as 'fancy' is important to decide together! Planning such a big life-changing event can be stressful, but prioritizing and staying organized (lots of spreadsheets) helped me.”
