Wanting to give her couple an idea of what a small elopement with big wedding vibes could look like, Elizabeth Staniszewski from At-The-Altar prepared this style shoot. "I wanted to express to the couple that an elopement event with At-The-Altar, no matter how intimate or small (up to 10 guests) could be designed to what they dreamed their wedding day would be like on their budget!" Elizabeth gushes.

With only a few weeks to prepare, the venue Elizabeth had booked canceled. Luckily, Elizabeth was able to find a new one and get all the vendors to come to the new venue despite the short notice. This change of venue completely changed what Elizabeth had in mind for the theme. "I was going for an industrial clean look, but when the venue had to cancel and I went with my second choice, it wasn't an industrial space," Elizabeth says. "The low lights and low ceilings gave the elegant, romantic vibe I was looking for."

The main idea with all the details was to keep the venue looking simple and elegant at the same time. Elizabeth chose the main colors of black and white to keep with the theme. She incorporated touches of green in the florals to bring some freshness into the shoot. "I decided to show how silk florals can create an elegant look," Elizabeth explains. And we think the photographer, PeaceMade Photography, captured the simplicity and elegance of this shoot beautifully!

Though Dream Hall 51 wasn't Elizabeth's original venue of choice, the results were stunning and they were able to provide many of the decor items. "The venue supplied tables, chairs and black tablecloths, which created the elegant touches I was looking for," Elizabeth gushes. The floral centerpieces were Elizabeth's favorite decor piece. Though she had brought the other florals, the centerpieces matched the bouquet and other florals perfectly. The stationery from Grimes Occasion Design also adds to the elegant yet simple theme!

We need to talk about that dress and that cake! The bride looks absolutely stunning in this simple yet elegant gown. "It was perfect," Elizabeth raves. And we agree wholeheartedly. The cake also looks delicious! We are in love with the floral detailing on the side and how it fits the theme wonderfully!
