A Citrine Dream: A Sizzling Summer Style Shoot in Indianapolis

Just as everyone was beginning to wish for sweater weather and pumpkin spiced everything, this vendor team dreamed up the perfect shoot to transition from summer to fall. "We really wanted to bring in fun colors combined with a luxury outdoor aesthetic. My ultimate goal was to create a vision of fun colors, wildflowers and high end," Beth Waterman, the planner for this shoot, explains. Despite the heat of the fleeting summer days, this shoot went off without a hitch!
 

Inspired by the warmth of summer and the bright colors that dapple the trees in fall, Beth's design and floral company Flora + Flame created this elegant ceremony scene. They chose plenty of sunny florals that also remind us of the changing leaves. "We chose a mixture of roses combined in with Feverfew, button poms and Billy balls for a whimsical late summer look," Beth shares. "Not to mention the amazing smell this combination of florals provided." We love all the textures and colors found in this simple décor item!
 

This style shoot is the epitome of understated elegance! The simplicity of the wooden frame with flowing white sheets creates such an elevated look without overwhelming anything else. What we really love are the crystal chandeliers that are mounted over the tablescape. They tie so beautifully to the crystal glasses on the table. With florals along the center of the table and greenery wrapped around the wooden frames, this dinner scene is so elegant and romantic! The golden silverware tops off this high end tablescape, and Beth Waterman Photography caught all the beautiful details flawlessly.
 

We love that this shoot highlighted the newer outdoor spaces that The Ivory Foundry has to offer. Beth raves, "We have a soft spot for The Foundry and its hidden gem aesthetic. It fit the idea of mixing luxury into the city." With a luxurious Astroturf patio for your guests to dine on and dance the night away, this space is perfect for any kind of outdoor ceremony!
 

Every style shoot needs a blushing bride, and the one in this shoot is absolutely stunning! Her deep-V gown from The Frock Bridal brings an air of whimsy into this shoot. The full, floral skirt matches well with the greenery around the space as well as that flowing drape around the wooden frame in the ceremony. We think the big bow on the back is the perfect touch! As for the bride's hair and makeup, the team kept it classic to go with the elegant aspect of this shoot. We are obsessed with the smokey eye and perfect curls in the bride's hair!
 

When asked about that delicious three-tiered cake, Beth exclaimed, "YUMMY!" Though the cake is rather simple in design, the colors are the perfect match for the plethora of florals that surround it. We love the blended yellow and orange that almost remind us leaves in the peak of autumn!
