Alyssa of Alyssa Townsley Photography not only wanted to bring together small businesses in the Niles and Buchanan, Michigan areas, she desired to create a shoot that was classic and romantic with a touch of vintage. “We have many wonderful vendors in our small towns that I wanted to highlight in the styled shoot,” says Alyssa. “When I spoke with Melanie at The Grand LV about my idea, she had the same vision as well. She had been wanting to do a styled shoot, and the timing worked out perfectly. We both worked together to create the styled shoot we both wanted to capture.”

As a new business in Niles, The Grand LV has a lower level event center called Fifty5. “They are currently remodeling the rest of the building for more event spaces,” says Alyssa. “It is located in downtown Niles in the former historic Elks building that was built in 1928.”

The bride wore a lace, vintage style gown and the couple was set against a natural, soft palette to complement the vintage, classic theme. The florals featured seeded eucalyptus, roses, dusty miller, hydrangea, baby eucalyptus, succulents, variegated pitt greenery and ranunculus. The shoot was completed by rentals from Burns Rent-Alls, Inc. The use of trendy, mixed metals served as the final touch.
