Nothing beats a classically styled wedding. They offer elegance, charm and sweet hints of romance all at once. That is why we are loving this classic style shoot by IndyGigz Wedding and Event Planning and Jessika Feltz Photography at The Meeting House at West Clay. Betsy, owner of IndyGigz, says, “We wanted to showcase this beautiful and classic venue that boasts a modern yet traditional feel and is in the cutest and most charming area of The Village of West Clay. We were drawn to the neutral tones of the building itself and the wide array of design styles that would accent and showcase the venue and area’s variety of architecture.”

The team worked with that beautiful architecture with elegant styled items for the feminine look. Betsy notes, “We loved the clean look and style of the outside of the building paired with the elegance and intimacy of the ballroom. We designed the style of the shoot to fit the venue, which is perfect because that is exactly what our couples hire us to do!”

To finish off the romantic style. The bridal look the team chose was equally as delicate and charming. The team selected a dress from LUXEredux Bridal. Betsy says, “We chose a simple, timeless and elegant gown. The blush/taupe undertone served as a nice accent to the white building and gray walls of the ballroom. This A-line, spaghetti strap stunner had a lace bodice and sweetheart neckline. A simple waltz-length veil completed the look.”

The florals for the shoot were ideal for the theme. “We worked alongside Shana Schutt Floral Design to create a classic-inspired look with a modern edge, in keeping with our theme of bold and feminine,” says Betsy. “The colors were tones of pink from blush to hot pink, deep purples, subtle hints of coral with multiple tones of greenery embellishments.”

We love the finishing detail of the shoot with Jupiter and Juno Stationery. Betsy notes, “We are firm believers that paper products put the finishing touches on your tabletop. Working closely with Jupiter and Juno Stationery, we developed a black, deckled edge invitation suite and menu card, using the striking architecture of the venue and surrounding area as inspiration.”
