An Early Morning Tea Party Inspiration Shoot in Southwest Michigan

MORNING SUN

A team of local wedding professionals in Southwest Michigan came together to create an early morning springtime stylized photo shoot in an apple orchard. The creative team of Brad and Sam or Bradley James Photography turned to Stella Event Design’s Event Planner Brittany Johnson for her expertise. Blessed with amazing weather, the early morning sun gave the team the absolute perfect lighting for gorgeous photos!

LOVE BIRDS

To add the magical touch to the almost perfect scene, antique bird cages were hung from the trees.

VINTAGE STYLE

The bride modeled a vintage wedding dress with tiered ruffles and simple lace accents. Her floral belt and headband pulled the flower blossoms into her ensemble and her coral sweater rounded out the simple yet elegant look. A classic Perry Ellis linen khaki suit with a charcoal tie was worn by the groom. His neutral colors complemented the brides outfit perfectly.

TEA AND MUFFINS

Due to the morning shoot, the place settings were not a typical dinner setting, but instead included tea cups, cut glass water goblets, and the bride and groom were treated to muffins and raspberry tea!

POLKA DOTS AND GOLD

Event Planner Brittany Johnson’s desire was to create a soft, warm scene using the white and pink coloring of apple blossoms. Starting with the linens, Brittany chose a coral swiss dot pattern from La Tavola. Modern Day Floral perfectly pulled together the vision for the florals using lush peony, gardenia, ranunculus and greenery. Gold accents in the chiavari chairs, chargers, napkins, mercury glass votives and table number completed the look for the tablescape. The napkin rings were our glitzy piece- who doesn’t love a little sparkle?
