An Elegant & Chic Michigan Barn Style Shoot

Set among a gorgeous Midwest barn, Gable Hill, and its surrounding grounds, this shoot offers quite a bit of lovely for the taking. Not only is it elegant, but oh-so-chic. The natural setting, bride’s laid-back look (hello beautiful separates!) and sweet lavender and blush palette are just some of the things we love.

Melissa Mathis of Melissa Anne Floral Co. says, “I wanted something that was romantic but really wanted to have a barn as the background. The farmhouse table and blush and lavender tones achieved this look!” Lilies, roses and olive branches were just some of the eye-catching florals Melissa infused.

Simplicity also served this vision well. The ruffle buttercream cake paired perfectly with the fresh blooms, and gorgeous vintage dishes, ghost chairs and chargers added the chic layers Melissa so desired.
