Ashley spied Anthony from across the gym but waited about six months to make a move. After the pair hit it off, they knew it was meant to be forever! Keeping Ashley’s preference for an intimate proposal in mind, Anthony hand-crafted a kneeling metal figure out of old engine parts. Rocky, the figure, was holding the ring, and Ashley said yes!

The pair knew they wanted to have a romantic winter theme to match the season. “We didn’t want a ‘Christmas’ themed wedding but were okay with it reminding our guests of the holidays. I wanted a lot of dark green and white,” Ashley says. We love that this theme was incorporated into the dark green velvet bridesmaids' dresses and groom's tie.

What we love

Anthony made a female counterpart for Rocky: Rockette! “It was fun incorporating the proposal into the wedding,” Ashley gushes. We also love the fur shawls Ashley and her bridesmaids' sported to stay warm. This cozy look added the perfect touch of practical elegance!

Advice from the couple

According to Ashley, hiring a wedding coordinator was the best planning decision she made! “It is well worth the investment,” she adds. “Our coordinator took care of all the details (schedule, vendor, cleanup, etc.) so that Anthony and I, and our families, could enjoy the weekend.”
