Chris and Chelsea met after Chelsea went through a bad break-up and her friend wanted her to move on. As it turns out, Chelsea's friend was Chris' sister-in-law. "She gave him my number hoping to help me with moving on," says Chelsea. "He texted me asking to go out for drinks and I ignored him for three months. Finally, I gave in and we went out and he was the sweetest guy I have ever met. One drink turned into four hours and the rest is history!"

Chris was soon planning a really sweet, surprise proposal. Chelsea says, "Chris secretly planned for my best friend to take me out to brunch on a Sunday. While I was gone, he decorated my entire house with flower petals, candles and a slide show of our memories together. He had a three-page note sitting on my kitchen counter with a massive flower arrangement. At the end of the love note, it told me to continue to the back of my house." Chelsea followed a path of petals and found Chris down on one knee! After saying 'yes,' Chris took Chelsea out where all her friends and family were waiting to celebrate!

As for the ring, Chelsea had sent Chris a few photos of what she liked. But, Chris ended up picking out the ring on his own. "I was swept away when he opened the box and I saw it for the first time," says Chelsea. "It is honestly more than I ever expected. It is so perfect!"

The couple picked Stefanie Russo as their photographer not only because she is Chris' cousin but because she has a talent for capturing amazing couples in love! "She does such an amazing job and when she said she would shoot our engagement pictures I was so excited," adds Chelsea. "They turned out better than I had ever imagined. She is so creative and makes the day so much fun. She captured our personalities perfectly."
