Fairytale Love: A Chicago Woodland Style Shoot

When the team came together to pull off this fairytale style shoot, they wanted to show off what the talented vendors could do. Since the venue has a cozy and intimate vibe that makes you feel as though you’ve escaped from reality, Weddings by Katie and Co, the planner, was inspired to curate a woodland fairytale theme.

What We Love

The models for this shoot had recently been married themselves. Instead of bringing in a new gown, they allowed the bride to wear her wedding dress again, a luxury most brides don’t get to experience! We think it beautifully complements the whimsical nature of this shoot and looks absolutely stunning on the bride model!

Obviously, you can’t have a fairytale wedding without plenty of flowers! The ones used in this shoot were grown and hand-selected by the florist, who has an eye for knowing which flowers are right to deliver that perfect pop of color. The team was also able to showcase those colors in the donuts they used as the dessert! One of our favorite spaces is the tablescape made of a simple wooden table and chairs provided by Herriott’s Rentals.
