Trash the dress photos have become an up and coming trend over the last ten years. I prefer to call them the Fearless Bridal Session. The contrast of elegant clothing with an environment in which it is out of place is nothing new to the fashion or glamour industry, but this is our chance to be a part of that era and really create something original. Let’s face it, in about five years you will be asking yourself, where did I put my dress? Maybe it’s in the attic, basement, or like mine sitting waiting patiently in the back of my closet to come out and breathe one more time. These photo sessions not only give the bride a chance to put on that beautiful dress and feel like a model one more time. This also gives your photographer, pray they be the creative in nature, a chance to shine!

Recently I was talking with a client and told her that I have been wanting to paint a bride and she jumped at the chance. She not only let me paint her in a public venue, but she was fearless and more than willing to dance in the fountain for one last photo. So, whether you are getting married this year or 10 years ago may I suggest pull that dress out, let your hair fall down and make sure you dance around barefoot. Your photos will last a lifetime and your children will call you fearless!
