Kristen of Kristen Mittlestedt Photography was inspired by the story of Sleeping Beauty. She pictured a bride laying on a bed of flowers complete with all the romantic feels you would expect in a fairytale wedding. The result? A shoot filled with springtime vibes, an abundance of greenery, burgundy tones and a dreamy couple that will take your breath away.
The setting, an authentic, 1800s cabin, wasn’t short on charm. While a cozy fireplace, wooden farm table and vineyard chairs served to add rustic warmth, hints of gold, geometric pieces and terrariums brought just the right amount of modern to the décor. Moodiness was achieved using stunning florals such as gray/lavender Amnesia roses, deep plum-colored ranunculus and Scabiosa. And besides the gorgeously timeless look of the bride, the shoot featured other showstoppers, including the beautiful, stark black cake. Its design featured lovely bas-relief flowers and flecks of gold.
