What do you get when you pair the beautiful allure of old Hollywood with the drama of a stunning, historic theater? A glamorous affair that truly gives a bride and groom the ultimate red carpet treatment.
The Frauenthal Center, located in Muskegon, Michigan, was the perfect backdrop for photographer Brenda Hoffman’s concept. It offered just the right amount of ornate decor, hues of red and gold and a historical charm that would bring Brenda’s classy and glamorous vision to fruition.
“Since the theater had lots of red and gold, the gold, black and white were a good anchor, without competing,” Brenda says. Who doesn’t picture old Hollywood without picturing vintage mirrors, sequins and roses? The lush florals and attention to detail in the decor added a level of class and refinement, while keeping the overall look rich and clean."
From the sparkling glasses of champagne to the gold chiavari chairs, sequin linens and statement-making pieces like the centerpiece candelabras and large, white couch—the theme exuded the glamour and class reminiscent of an old event.
The three cakes also reflected the rich white, black and gold palette and were fitted specifically to the vintage stands that displayed them.
What’s a Hollywood premier without the perfect dress? The bride was a vision in her elegant, Hollywood-worthy Kenneth Winston gown, bold lips, dramatic lashes and side-swept hairstyle, while the vintage veil, jewelry and headband were the perfect glamorous accessories. And nothing could be more swoon-worthy on a Hollywood groom than a classic, black tuxedo.
