Your bridal bouquet should be an expression of your distinctive style and taste. This is your chance to showcase your favorite blooms while allowing them to enhance your appearance as you walk down the aisle toward the man of your dreams! A tight budget won't hinder a talented floral company in achieving the look you want at the price you need. Book a floral specialist with years of experience and you'll find in them a wealth of knowledge when it comes to creating that perfect bouquet on a budget.

It is important to take your time in researching flowers for your bouquet. Look through magazines and websites and seek out not only specific types of flowers, but also striking color combinations. Once you feel you have identified your favorite floral colors and varieties, share them (and your budget) with your wedding specialist and let the brainstorming begin!

An exceptional way to save money is to choose one flower and showcase it. The standard Calla Lily is a distinctive choice. With long, graceful stems and a perfectly creamy blossom, Calla Lilies beg to be shown off without distraction from other flowers. An arm bouquet of three Callas tied in satin ribbon and finished with simple pearl-head pins is a great way to express your timeless sense of style while keeping to your budget.

If you desire a lush, rounded bouquet, look for a flower with a large head to fill up the space. The hydrangea is an excellent choice for this look, and it comes in several colors. With tucks of naturally beautiful hydrangea leaves and an interesting "ballerina" ribbon wrap, you can easily attain this classic look without breaking the bank. You may be after a more exotic bouquet for your special day. Look into a rare bouquet of Ginger in red, deep burgundy or pale pink. This tropical flower needs nothing more than an interesting wire or raw-silk ribbon wrap to create a statement on a budget.

If you've always wanted a textural bouquet, consider your floral mix carefully. You may love Lily of the Valley or Stephanotis, but they don't cover a lot of space and are on the higher end of the price scale. Think of these options as the icing on the cake! You can still have them in your bouquet, but you'll need to fill it out with other less-expensive choices. Beautiful options for creating that base in your bouquet could be Gladiola blooms, Stargazer Lilies, Gerbera Daisies, Fuji Mums, Bells of Ireland or Cymbidium Orchids. Once you have a base of these or any other less-expensive flowers, layer in touches or clusters of that special and pricier flower to get the look you desire. Add even more texture to your bouquet with rhinestones in the center of a few focal flowers, pearl-head pins into the ribbon wrapped handle, or a fun collar of feathers around the base.

Having a conservative budget may send some vendors running, but if you do your homework and find the right vendors, they'll respect your budget and happily work within it, finding creative ways to make your dreams come true.
