The Hottest Trends in Floral Predicted by Real-Life Florists

Less Rustic, More Glamour

"Less rustic and more glamour is taking shape this year.  Burlap and mason jars are on their way out and a more glamorous, timeless, vintage vibe is taking center stage.  Our brides are still loving mismatched vintage-inspired containers and mercury glass for centerpieces, with lots of greenery and textural elements.  Kings tables are also becoming very popular for receptions, rather than the traditional round, making way for long bespoke centerpiece designs or a lovely garland of greenery interspersed with “satellite” florals such as petite vases with single stems and the romance of candlelight is still ever-popular.  Following this glamorous trend, silver, as an accent, is down-trending in favor of rose gold, gold, and copper." -Joan Nekritz of Merci Beaucoup Floral in Caledonia, MI
