This Indiana State Park Engagement Has Sweet, Swoon-Worthy Colors: The Engagement of Carissa and Jonathan

Carissa and Jonathan crossed paths two years ago at their church’s young adult group. Both were instantly interested in pursuing a relationship, and the rest is history! While she was driving home with her friends, the car Carissa was in pulled off to the side of the road. She remembers, “I just assumed we were lost again when out of the woods walks Jonathan. He pulled me from the car and walked me down a private covered bridge. When we reached the end of the bridge, he stopped at a circle of roses that were on the ground and got down on one knee. He proceeded to ask me to spend my life with him!”

The couple soon began searching for wedding vendors and were totally blown away by the skills Julie of Simply Seeking Photography brought to the table. “We loved Julie’s soft, romantic style,” Carissa gushes. “She captured our emotions perfectly and did a great job posing us.”

The pair picked their outfits based on the colors their wedding will have. “Our colors are purple and silver and it is a more traditional style wedding. Therefore, we dressed up!” Carissa notes.

Even though wedding planning has gotten harder due to COVID-19, the couple is still excited to take this first step to the rest of their lives. We can’t wait to see their big day!
