When Halie and Caleb both decided to swipe right on a dating app, they didn't know that they were starting their forever together. While they were still living in the first apartment they had together, Caleb set it up as a romantic scene and they had dinner together. After dinner, Caleb said they were going on a scavenger hunt. The hunt ended when Halie found the note he had hid. "The note read 'Roses are red, I like sweet tea, will you marry me?' and as I turned around he was down on one knee," Halie recalls.

We love how stunning Halie is in that A-line, long-sleeved gown! "I had NO idea what I was looking for in a dress when I went shopping," Halie admits. "But the second I tried on my dress, I knew it was 'the one'." She had an excellent experience when dress shopping. The store where she bought her gown even recommended a seamstress, who came in handy when she needed some last-minute alterations. The lace detailing throughout the dress is a perfect elegant touch to contrast with their industrial venue.

As soon as the couple started to plan for their wedding, they remembered pictures they had seen of friends' weddings at Bread & Chocolate that they wanted to check out. They loved the industrial look of the venue with the original hardwood flooring and decided they wanted to be married in the venue too. The happy couple decided to base their color scheme around their favorite colors. Halie gushes, "The groom's favorite color is navy blue and I have always loved wine/burgundy colors. We thought these colors would look amazing not only in the venue but with the time of year." They supplemented the colors with blush and a steel gray.

What We Love

The couple's families were heavily involved in the planning process of the Hull's wedding. Their families were so involved that something the bride's mother said became a motif of their wedding. "At the beginning of our relationship, before we were even engaged, my mother referenced to the show Friends one day while we were out at lunch stating that I had 'found my lobster.' Not being super familiar with the show and not getting the reference, I shared the silly comment to the groom," Halie shares. "We laughed so often about it that it carried on until present day. Several subtle things throughout our wedding had either a reference to lobsters or had lobster patterns, including my wedding shoes."

Advice from the couple

Halie and Caleb advise, "They are NOT kidding when they say that the day flies in the blink of an eye! Make sure to take one minute from the day to just soak everything in."
