An Italian Countryside Affair in Michigan: The Real Wedding of Kerrie & Matthew Rea

Inspired by the airy, Italian countryside theme, Kerrie and Matt pulled together a wedding that was elegant with a flair of bold to match their personalities. The couple had an excellent formula for finding vendors for their perfect day. “First, it was vetting options to ensure they fit in with our creative vision aesthetically and had a good online presence, reviews, etc.," Kerrie says. Once they talked with the vendors, the happy couple knew they would help accomplish the vision of their intimate backyard wedding!

 

Advice from the Couple

Kerrie and Matt share, “Ask yourself what the most important things are for your wedding day, and plan accordingly (aside from your dress, that’s a given). For instance, we agreed on these 3 things as our top areas of focus: 1. Photography, 2. Food/Drinks, 3. Guest Experience. That will guide which vendors you choose, where to shoot for the moon and what to exclude!”
