GET OUT THE GRILL!

Our recommendations when planning food for an outdoor wedding or event are to keep it fresh. It’s a good idea to ask your caterer if they can grill as much food as they can right on site. The guests love the aroma of grilled food and you know it’s fresh when it is being cooked in front of you!

OTHER IDEAS

Other fun, fresh outdoor options to consider for both your rehearsal dinner and your reception:

•Kabobs
•Pig Roasts
•An abundance of fresh, local fruits

PASTA BAR

We would also recommend utilizing a pasta station. Again, it is made in front of your guests so they know it’s fresh for them.

THINK LOCAL

If you’re planning a local and fresh menu, fried perch is a great option. It’s a dish native to Michigan and can be made fresh on site.
