History isn't really on the side of the bridesmaid's dress. Looking through albums of weddings gone-by, you have, in all likelihood, come across some pretty cringe-worthy gowns. Poofy shoulders, tons of tulle, and fabric so shiny it could blind the innocent bystander, bridesmaids' dresses were typically a one-and-done wear, getting their 15 minutes of fame (or shame) and then cast to the back of the closet for all eternity.

But don't worry, ladies in waiting: those days are gone. Trends in bridesmaids' dresses are changing, and we love them! Here's what the girls are wearing these days, and would be proud to wear again!

1. Retro Florals

2. Grecian Inspired

3. Sequins

4. Mix-and-Match

5. One-Shoulder

6. No Rhyme or Reason

Both you and your bridesmaids will love these looks. With these styles, you can't go wrong!
