This Louisville Micro-Wedding is Cozy and Romantic: The Real Wedding of Julianne & Beth Powell-Sutton

After meeting online, Julianne and Beth met up for the first time and instantly felt sparks. Once the pair knew they were meant to be, it wasn’t long before they wanted to take the next step in their relationship. The couple had always jokingly spoken about proposing with a Ring Pop, but when Beth actually popped the question to Julianne with the candy, it took her by complete surprise! 

The couple originally wanted to have a larger wedding but were forced to downsize due to COVID-19. Their celebration only held 25 close family members, but the intimacy of the day made it even more special.

What we love

Julianne’s aunt and mother assisted in most of the planning and decorating of their venue. “My aunt really spent a lot of time on the venue space to make it look special and that meant a lot to me,” she adds.

Advice from the couple

“Don’t get all wrapped up in every little detail,” Julianne says. “It’ll all work out in the end!”
