Love by the Shore: A Michigan-Inspired Style Shoot

Nothing can quite beat beachside elegance, hints of spring and a gorgeous Lake Michigan backdrop. Choosing one of the best venue locations in the area, Shanell Edwards of Shanell Photography and Elizabeth Schenk, Owner and Lead Designer at Posh Petals, were graced with a picture-perfect, windswept day for their shoot—one designed with all the beach feels in mind.

A dusty blue and blush palette, sandy cliffs and lakeside vignettes combined to create the gorgeously natural scenes while beautiful florals, candles and geometric shapes enriched the pretty views. As a nod to the waves, the stationery and cake both infused a watercolor-inspired design—perfect additions to the fresh palette.
